CHALLENGES:

What challenges led you to get communication training for your team?

“Our product is cutting edge and we participate in many tech conferences, competitions and events where we get serious global exposure” shares Shahaf Ellenbogen, Head of HR at WSC Sports.

Shahaf: It’s critical for us that our team members feel confident in their ability to create real impact when they are speaking at conferences, talking to clients or delivering messages internally. To do that you need support. We wanted to provide them with clear direction when it comes to messaging, level up their professional language (particularly for those who are not mother tongue English), and offer guidance to those who don’t naturally feel confident in front of an audience.

Main team challenges:

  • Creating compelling story-driven presentations that create impact on global audiences in highly competitive tech conferences

  • Eliminating ineffective messages that are unstructured, not to the point and result in lack of engagement in internal meetings

  • Increasing team members’ confidence and stage presence, particularly those who have difficulties in a public speaking setting

Given your challenges, what training tracks did your team complete?

APPROACH:

How did the process work?

Shahaf: Talli started off working one on one with the key players in our product, business development and finance teams. This really helped her learn our organization. From there she went on to work with every single department.

We saw a need to level up our global communication skills across the board. Whether its for our quarterly goal camps led by the product department and presented to the entire organization or for our Algo team who explains our unique technology at leading tech conferences.

“Talli very quickly identified the pain points and challenges of every person on the team. She’s very direct so after only 15 minutes in the first session, you can create an action plan for what to improve and how” says Heydar Katz, VP Product.

Shahaf: Talli makes you feel comfortable. She gives you the feeling that you can’t fail. She’s always aiming higher and she gives you a sense of security. She knows how to get the most out of each team member.

RESULTS:

  • What are the changes you see in the organization today?

    • Highly technical presentations are story-driven and well structured, resulting in organic flow

    • Visible improvement in confidence and stage presence - even with introverted speakers

    • Daily application of practical models to build effective messages that are to the point, accurate and engaging

Shahaf: The training significantly increased our team’s confidence in daily communication and presentations. We definitely achieved our training goals. I’m able to lead company-wide presentations with more confidence and better messaging and I can see visible improvement in my team members. It’s given us the possibility to do bigger and better things.
